The Official Spurs thread

In a pretty awful Everton team. You'd expect him to get a better service at Spurs.

Yep, no doubt Spurs are a more creative outfit.

From a selfish perspective, he needs to try to avoid being a dogsbody on behalf of Son & Kane.

To reach his potential he needs to get more/better service & improve his finishing.

Lenglet and Spence to be done over next 48 hours - that is 6 in before the end of June.
Like a twilight zone for Spurs.

Will be a very interesting transfer. Putting aside all of his antics, he's a talented guy and works very hard.

To fulfill his potential
his finishing needs to go up a level. Having Kane & Son to learn from (...and take the heat off any pressure for his numbers to improve immediately) will do him a lot of favours in his first season.

Yeah - sums it up. £50m a lot of coin for a guy who though undoubtedly talented, could do a lot more and needs to at Spurs.
You'd wonder if Spurs could have got more bang for their buck elsewhere although to be fair to Conte/Spurs, transfers in January turned out pretty well. Might be looking at £50m as a bargain this time next year.

I think he is being bought because he can play as a Son or Kane or Kulusevski across the front 3.
With 5 subs and CL this year - you essentially need 2 first teams and Conte is on record as saying he repeatedly felt that when he turned to the bench he did not have the options to sub off his first XI.

If they do get Richarlison, Lenglet and Spence over the weekend. 6 in. CCV, Gollini out.

Winks to Everton gone cold - Lampard apparently has changed his mind.
Winks must be gotten rid of.
Ndombele was rumoured to be going on loan with option to Galatasaray.
Emerson's agent said yesterday he was staying but Atletico have apparently put a 25 mill bid in for him.
Lo Celso will find a home in Spain.
Bergwijn move confirmation was waiting for the Richarlison deal to get done.
Possible that Rodon might to go to Forest (mistake in my view) - Tanganga might join Mourinho - Sanchez has been offered to clubs as makeweight for their CBs.

Still think they need an Eriksen type - and he is going to United.
Need a Bremer or left sided CB. Torres for Lo Celso?
If Emerson leaves they'll probably have Doherty and Spence at rwb - Traore might get revived yet.

Yep. I'm of the mind that it'll work out well and in ~3 years' time Spurs will be happy with the buy and may well be fielding offers for considerably more than £50m for him.

Bar finishing, which can often just click in mid-20s for talented players, he doesn't have a notable weakness to his game. It's not a bad fee for a mobile 25 year-old Brazilian striker who can play multiple positions in the final third. Conte could push him on to the next level.

Saw one of those Champions league shows from around 2018 and Moura at PSG was touted as one of the most wanted players in Europe .

Their champion league final year aside he never really kicked on.

This signing should see his gametime further reduced. At 29 you'd wonder if he's going to stick.around.
