watched RRR the other day on netflix, about a couple of indian boyos rising up against the brits. some good set pieces, and they make the british comedy evil which is fun.

alison doody is in it as the evil wife of the governor.

6.5/10. warning, there are some bollywood style dance sequences and a pointless romantic storyline.

Dr Strange Multiverse of Madness 4/10

There are hints of a decent Raimi horror movie in there but unfortunately gets washed out by Disneys incessant need to make it into yet more diversity female empowerment schlock.

Such a shame as there are some genuinely excellent ideas in there.

Marvel movies are complete sh*te since Disney bought them.

Raimi is a fine filmmaker but these formula franchise movies don't do anything interesting anymore.

I'll watch the Thor movie but then I'm done and my patience is wearing pretty thing there.


(The less said about Marvel TV the better)

Gut wrenching tale of a Swedish 19 year old moving to L.A. to make it in the porn biz.

Genuinely unsettling yet compelling viewing. Newcomer Soffia Keppel is extraordinary in it.

6.5/10 , mostly for the central performance.
