Snatch Comedy Improv is one of Ireland’s longest-running improv groups, having formed in 2002. For their regular weekly show, they make up short scenes on the spot based on audience suggestions, often with elaborate rules to make it more difficult. The results can be hilarious, unexpected or just plain weird. But it’s always spontaneous, and always based on your ideas.
The group are based in Cork, but have travelled to The Netherlands and Finland in pursuit of improv excellence. They also provide improv training workshops and developed their own “long-form” show in which they improvise an entire play.
The show takes place upstairs in The Roundy, Castle Street. It starts at 9pm every Tuesday, and entry is only €5. It's over by 10:30pm, so you can have a drink with your friends and still go somewhere else afterwards!
