Ceili At The Kino

The Kino, 24 Washington Street, Cork

Thu 13 Jun 2019 (event has already taken place)
8pm
€10

Our family friendly interactive entertainment gives you an authentic Irish cultural experience, with the emphasis on having fun, for all ages and ability. We get you on the dance floor and teach you the basic Céilí steps and moves, which are easy to pick up. The dances we walk you through use mostly the same moves in a different order and sequence. Then we dance to a live Céilí Band of traditional Irish musicians.
It is important that you are in comfortable clothes and wear comfortable footwear, as you will be moving around a lot.
While no dance partner or dance experience is required, please feel free to bring a friend or two with you. A few experienced dancers will be on the floor to help you enjoy the craic. Music lovers are also welcome to come along to observe and listen to the traditional Irish music.
