Default Ryan Giggs

Could have been one of the best if he had showed any ambition and gone to Italy 5 or 6 years ago.
Even though he played for manyoo, he was always one of my favourite players until he decided to sit in his rut at manyoo instead of going to Italy to test himself against the best defences.

Say what you like about the media whore that is Beckham, at least he tested himself in a decent league.
Sure, he failed miserably, but at least he tried.

Not fishing, just an opinion.
A shame, really, I'd have loved to have seen him play in the Milan side of 01/02/03

He could have provided back-up for Ibrahim Ba.

He had the choice of, lets face it, a few handy League Medals at ManYoo at a time when they were dominating, or going to Italy to test himself against the very best, if we are all being honest here, he took the easy option

Ok, so lets put it this way, if Gerrard stays at Liverpool for the remainder of his career, and doesnt go to Italy or Spain to "test him", will you have the same opinion of him?

Giggs has proved it manys a time in Europe against top class Italian defences, he left Juve in knots the last time they faced United. He didnt need to go to Serie A to prove anything, he's proved it all where he is
