Default Good place to buy RAM?

I need to buy some RAM for my laptop.
I need to get DDR SO-DIMM PC2700. I was gonna buy it from Komplett.ie, for 2*512 for €106 or 1*1024 for €101.
Can anyone recommend any other place to buy it?

Hey thanks, looks like a good store alright.

Anyone ever buy RAM or other computer stuff from eBay? I was gonna look into buying from there but I don't know if I trust it yet. Is it all about the sellers rating or is the products usually good?

I bought a bunch of PC133 512MB on EBAY for £20 which was what I paid for 256MB at silicon-group.co.uk. Ran memtest on it for a day, it was clean and I haven't had a crash with it for 2 months.

Pretty much. Power off the machine, take out the mains plug, discharge yourself off the case, the memory is keyed so you can't turn it the wrong way, just make sure it is plugged in fully and the keep-brackets are fully mated, then power up again and the boot screen should show the new amount of memory. For a laptop, it can be trickier due to the tight space.
Check your motherboard specs to see how much memory it can take.

Ya make sure it's in right, I thought my pc was fucked before cause it kept restarting so I hadn't touched it in over a year. Anyway one day I opened the case and noticed that one of the ram sticks wasn't in fully now it works grand.
