Its a very basic fucker alright..but will do me perfectly.

Usually 199euro..on sale now for 69euro

I was just about to buy the K25, when the guy on the phone directed me toward this
bargain!
you made the right choice. the fader on the k25 is very sticky and theres only 2 more asignable knobs. its not that basic though, a good step above the k25 anyway

Unfortuneatly.....

No!!

The xboard arrived today (woohoo ) which is pretty quick seen as it only came back in stock on Saturday.

But when i opened the box, i noticed a rattle from inside the keyboard itself, which couldnt have been good news.
Anyways when i removed the packaging i notice these brass rectangles loose in the box, and i was saying to myself "What the fuck are these things?"

Peaked under the keys and noticed they were brass weights, that are meant to be glued under the keys.
There was loads missing , but strangley enough there was only 2 loose in the bag.
No free pints for guessing where the rest of them were..

ah fcuk, bad one. thats a real dose. are you gonna get a replacement or get something else? i dont like the sound of that. who's to say the next one doesnt fall apart. was it packed up well? have a look at the boxes, see if it was dropped (you'll see a dent or whatever maybe). if it was, fair enough. but if not, its a big QC boo-boo

Theres no really dents, onl a very small one really on the main box, the box itself is huge, about 4 times the size of the keyboards one.
Id say its from the force of shaking in transport or something, it must have be bouncing all over the place for the weights to actually fall off and work their way inside the keyboard.
My mother signed the order to, so i didnt get a chance to take it out in front of the delivery guy (god that sounds so bad!).

I emailed them last night but no reply yet.

Its such a shame because its a lovely solid keyboard and all, and the knobs are extremely smooth.
It came with around 10 discs of software.

I finally got to understand the difference between velocity curve and hammer action, if i get good down the line, i think ill upgrade to a hammer actio keyboard.

you can still send it back though even tho you didnt check it.
it should be packed to take a bumpy transport. pioneer have the right idea. the cdj's come in a cardboard "cage" (best way to describe it) inside the box that act as shock observers. very clever.

was it with dolphin? they never answer emails. ive beeen emailing them all week and no reply yet. i keep fwd'ing the same email. ring them, ask for jake. he's fairly sound, he sort you out not brush you off like most of em!

if you like it i suppose give it another chance, could be a 1-off.

Nope its with thomann, and theyre pretty good at answering emails.
There was air filled plastics bags wrapped around everything inside the big box, but not under the keyboard or on top of it, and also theres no fragile stickers or anything on it which is a bit silly.
Its prob a one off alright id say, ill just give them a bit of advice on how to package it the next day!
