Default Curbishly

Has been telling the press that he's delighted the fans want him at Upton Park.
Is this true?
I wouldn't have thought his brand of football would go down well with the fans there.
He'll keep them up, but any manager could do that. Is he the right man for the job?

I only think Pardew couldn't because he had lost the players' respect.
Any other manager could keep that squad in the premiership.

I agree, their squad should be good enough to stay in the premiership if they can avoid key injuries at the back. Curbishley should I think be able to command the respect of the players.
It was obvious that Pardew lost this respect a while back after the south americans came along. I was at the Bolton game on Saturday and there was arguing going on, on and off the pitch with the west ham guys, Pardew seemed to have lost the run of the run things altogether and when the Bolton fans started singing "your getting sacked tomorrow" you kind of new it was coming sooner rather than later.
There was a story recently where somebody in the dressing said quite clearly in front of his team mates "i should be playing for Manchester United or Arsenal" (i assumer one of tevez or mascherano) and another stood up and said "your not good enough to play for Man Utd" ( I assume Sheringham)
I would have been very hard for Pardew to get things back on track.

The West Ham players should be fucking ashamed of themselves. They've outdone the Barcodes in getting ideas above their station at this stage. Reo-Coker has been a mockery this season reaching Franny Jeffers levels of self delusion. Whatever about not getting on with the manager, is it too much to ask for someone getting paid that kind of money to have a little pride? I hope they get the transfers they want and are shown up for the charlatans they are.

Why do you assume it's Tevez or Mascherano? They have a team loaded full of cocky, young, over-rated English shits- my money would be on it being any one of them?

REO-COKER FEELS SORRY FOR HIMSELF

West Ham captain Nigel Reo-Coker claims that everybody blames him for the club's problems.

The England Under-21 man is certainly feeling sorry for himself after the exit of Alan Pardew, claiming he has been given a lot of "flak" that will only get worse now.

Reo-Coker's form has been poor this season after a last campaign that saw him touted for full England honours.

"Everybody keeps saying I should be sacked and it's all my fault we've been doing so bad," Reo-Coker told The Sun.

"Alan's departure was a shock to everyone. Alan is a really great bloke and I can't believe it has happened now.

"We had no idea he was going to get sacked. Half the team had left training when Pardew came out to tell everyone he was leaving.

"I called him later for a private chat and he thanked me for being a great captain. Unfortunately a lot of people don't feel the same way.

"I've really been getting it in the neck. I've had so much flak but no one knows what it is like behind the scenes and what has really been going on with the team.

"Now Pardew has gone it's only going to get worse for me, with people pointing the finger."

Could have been Reo-Coker.
There was alot of talk of him going to manyoo during the summer abd when a bid never materialized and he found himself at west ham at the start of the season, I'd say he was very pissed offf.
Then in comes a world class player who plays in his position.
Pardew sticks by his man while the team see Mascherano, manyoo reject, doing it in training and not getting a game and Reo-Coked not trying and getting his.
Just speculation, but there's probably alot of truth in it.

you assume wrong, that was reo-coker, he had a medical up at arsenal last summer before pardew changed his mind and decided to keep him, reo-coker then spat the dummy. keeping him was pardews biggest mistake IMO
