Default Chorus Broadband

Live in the lough area cork city and been thinking of getting broadband and during the week some a guy called to my door selling chorus broadband -its a cable connection and doesn't need a phoneline
its seems to be a pretty good deal.

Anyone else using chorus broadband?? is it any good?

just trying going wireless and putting it into a router.
It can be doine but a nightmare for most people.
Normally has a grand service but does go down occasionally.

I have it a couple of months now also and no probs. 3Mbit, 30 GB allowance for 29.99. And, as PaulC said, nothing to pay for 3 months.

Have NTL (sister company to Chorus) and not a bother.
helpdesk is actually helpful and free.
any hardware problems get a free engineer visit and replacement.
fast, high cap, low contention and cheap
