The Canary islands normally fill up with Scandinavian oaps during the winter season. The weather will generally be fine as the islands have pretty much 12months of the year sunshine. The only downer is the 'calima' which are the high winds that carry saharan sand in the air for a few days around november. It normally affects Lanzarote/Fuertaventura more so than Gran canaria. The nightlife will still be quite busy. Bars dont close for winter. Stay away from the Irish centre though, its smells of piss at anytime of the year and is full of fake/tacky 'irish' bars. Head towards the main commercial centre for the better bars. Hope this helps!
