Default Best cheese ?

Have to say the Dubliner cheese is a fine cheese. Kilmeadan aint bad either. Well ? Seeing as D'oriel started it all about the clon sausages.

I think she did a thread about cheese at some stage too ...

I'm not a huge fan of cheese except if there is wine tasting ...

Edam aint bad either. But if cheese gets anyway hard and stale its manky.Has to fresh. Should i start a rasher thread ? Seeing as there is a sausage one.Could comprise the best full irish out of it.

Actually about storing cheese ... like chedder ... it keeps longer if you take it out of the packaging and keep it on a saucer and place it in the fridge ... and you know if mould grows on it ... you can still eat it - cut off the mould, you could even eat the mouldy bit - full of goodness, I myself wouldn't but one can ...

Start a rasher thread ...

Dubliner's not bad. Curious name for a West Cork cheese though.

Also recommend

Cashel Blue, Durrus and Hegarty's Irish Cheddar.
