I was thinking of getting them.

Then i saw them in London and ran a good country mile. This one will be good though as lindstrom is playing live and downtown sounds is one of the best nights in dublin along with the electric city.

Norwegian nu-disco heroes Lindstrom and Prins Thomas make their Irish debut at Ri-Ra on Friday April 28th.

Along with their mate Todd Terje, these boys have put Norway on the 21st Century disco map with a string of cosmic releases on their Feedelity imprint.

They have drawn DJ support across the board, with The Glimmer Twins commissioning them to release a collaborative album on their Eskimo label, The Idjut Boys issuing Thomas’ ‘Major Swellings’ project on Noid, and further releases on labels like Bear Funk and Rong Music.

Between them they have racked up remixes for the likes of Annie, Chicken Lips and LCD Soundsystem, while Thomas has torn up clubs all over Europe with his distinctive brand of freaky-deaky funk, disco, electro-boogie, italo and other trippy dancefloor delights……….

Lindstrom will be playing a live set on the night, while Mr Thomas will be on the decks all night long……
