Possibly, but norton anti virus is putting files in Quarantine a lot and im just not happy with that.. I Know its a good site and il miss it cause i downloaded some decent stuff from there, but with 3:1 ratio of infected files its better that we part.. Also a few weeks ago on 2fm an internet security head was going on about it saying to anyone who has it that its risky.

downloading software from any P2P network is really risky for viruses. how do you spread your new virus to as many people as possible? wrap it up in a tasty looking worm of a new program/game, then hook em when they download it. boom, spread to thousands of people.

if you want to minimize the risk, download files which have a high number of sharers, as these are less likely to be viruses - or lots of people have not detected the viruses, but this is unlikely.

another option is maybe your computer has a virus, and something is infecting them as the files are being downloaded. but if that is the case, then norton should've picked it up. it is not a bad idea to download a different virus scanner and scan your system. eg, avgfree is good and free. sometimes the virus gets into norton, then you're fucked.

I've never had problems with it. I've been using it since it came out... You just have to becare what you download....If you search for a song the you get a hit thats a fewKB in size, you leave it along..
