Default Electric Picnic Feedback

Probably a bit early for most of ye, I was only up there for the Saturday so I`m fresh enough today.

Stereo Mc`s were pretty good, I though Laurent Garnier was excellent, Asian Dub Foundation rocked the place in fairness.....

missed it for the 2nd year running. wreaking.
it was 6 of one or an half dozen of the other. i went for the half dozen and am heading to Ibiza Friday instead.
Suppose Ricardo Villalobos and Richie Hawtin will have to do next Monday night in Coccoon and that`ll only be the start of the week!

Laurent was class so!? what about Sneak? I`d say the bodytonic arena would`ve been hopping from the start. anyone see The Chalets?

Going to Ibiza on friday isnt a bad "instead of" fella! I was only up there on the Saturday, Sneak played Sunday night so i havent a clue what he was like. I`m sure all the heads will surface tomorrow at some stage for a few reports on him.

Great time.

Kraftwerk Rocked.

Lemon Jelly were cool..

Human League cracked me up.

Royksopp - class.

Missed Damo Dempsey.

Camping was cool. Seemed way better than Oxegen. Carpark was a joy to get in and out of.

Why they had that undertaker Nick Cave I'll never know.

Cops held back on things and there was loads of weed an yokes going around!

lol

cool weekend...glad it didn't rain up there and it was pissin down here (apparently anyway)

way better set up than oxegen too with an older crowd and far less scum...

personal highlights: kraftwerk, goldfrapp, mercury rev and arcade fire...ben watt and dj sneak were very good as well...

a couple of the tents were a bit on the small side though, fuck sake we couldn't get near the comedy tent...

i thought they might be a bit strict with the camping thing this year so we camped, but there's no bother camping next to your car which is far more convenient if you ask me so that's the plan next year...

and there's talk of it being a 3 day festival next year - rawk on!

Highlights of Saturday : Royksopp & Laurent Garnier

Saw some of Kraftwerk from a distance, no bloody chance of getting into the tent at that stage…what I saw was nuts…….

Arcade Fire, from what I can remember were savage….but it’s a bit of a blur after their first song, although I know I was there from most if not all of their set as I have video footage to prove it…..

Mixmaster Mike….was also savage…..

But the Highlight for Saturday for me was Royksopp…..Unbewevab le!!! Loved it loved it loved it!!!

Garnier was just the icing on the cake for Saturday….he rocked the place and seemed to love every minuet of it……

Fat Boy Fat put on a savage show to finish out the night……

Sunday ……..
