A definate peno, and it was a red card for the pull back on ronaldo.

That shit only matters if you lose though.

I think the reason it wasn't given is that Ruud touched the ball slightly to the left past Given, but made no attempt to change direction and just went straight at the keeper. When a ref sees this he makes the decision that Ruud was not trying to play the ball anyway, so its his own tough if he runs into someone.

I wouldnt agree with that. Contact was made, simple as that, penalty should be the outcome. If Given is going to come for the ball he should be 100% sure he`s going to get it, if he doesnt he risks giving away a penalty. Ruud hasnt exactly been an honest player in the past, and it backfired, if it was somebody else, i`d say a penalty would have been given. Your logic doesnt make any sense, why should Van Nistilrooy try to do Given any favours by trying to evade a bad tackle. Thats not dishonest, you can say he`s playing for it all you want, doesnt change the fact that its still a penalty.

Rooney & Ruud are looking great and will only get better as the season goes on and hopefully no injuries. Getting fed up with Ronaldo's reaction to every foul etc. He has to stop pleading to the ref and get on with the game and start making that final pass rather than playing the victim.

i'm waiting for the day ronaldo has a full scale nervous breakdown when he doesn't get a free kick at one point on sun (when they were already 1-0) he had to told to get up by a utd player and he was in bits, in a "just seen his girlfriend score with someone else when you're fifteen" kind of way

He was frustrating in the first half when the bar-codes were persistingly fouling (him and his teammates) and this obviously goes against him when he is genuinely wronged like in the second half incident. Overall though, he's linking up nicely with the other two and if he can take the right option one or two more times United will score more.
