Bad news for the Cork team.
It has been revealed that Brian Corcoran suffered a recurrence of the shoulder injury that kept him out for a number of weeks after the conclusion of the Munster SHC.
Corcoran’s replacement in the Clare game, Neil Ronan, is also struggling with ligament damage.
In addition, Wayne Sherlock and Tom Kenny are suffering from dead legs while Erin’s Own star Kieran Murphy is undergoing investigations to determine whether he has suffered a broken finger.
hopefully they'll all be back for the 11th of september.
Aren't they pulling the senior team out of the Championship cos they won't postpone the game for them? Erin's Own now that is.

I don't think it's the incorrect decision. If anything I think it shows a distinct lack of confidence in their own players to do the job. They should use it as an "everyone against us so lets get it up them" rather than throwing the rattle.

Very exciting game but the surface was in an awful state today, defenders were slipping all over the place.
Galaway won't get haf as much change off Corks backs and Galways full back line looked especially vulnerable.
It would have been better for us if Kilkenny had stolen it in the last few minutes with a couple of goals.
We'd beat them no bother but Galway will be a much tougher proposition. We'll be overwhelming favourites so Galway will be totally relaxed.
They've never beaten us in a final too so they are due a win. Still, the last time we played Galway in an All-Ireland Hurling Final we won the
double so maybe it's a good omen!
