Ah, the poor shinners are all over the shop on this.
A few years ago, Martin McGuinness was at a function and shaking hands with her in Belfast but he had to pass a SF protest outside the door to attend.
We do things differently in Cork.

You just have to laugh at the Shinners.

They are all for inclusion in some future United Ireland paradise and talk about equality and parity of esteem etc but an invite for the neighbouring head of state to visit us and they go bananas.

Exactly.

In Cork we are strong and confident enough in our history to welcome visiting heads of state unlike Dublin where protestors had their mini riot.

Mortin McGuinness and Gerry Adams had no problem meeting the Royals and breaking bread with them so what is the big deal after the IRA murdering a member of their family

Happens for al visiting heads of states etc.

As some old timer said down in Crosshaven back in 2011 with a British destroyer off Cork harbour flying the union jack at its stern "the good times are back again"
