Good man Johnny. Not a syllable spoken out of place. The chosen ones. Nauseating listening to Neville expounding on management after his triumphs in Valencia. Simply embarrassing having to listen to Giggsy expounding on anything.

Getting very cantankerous lately is John , nothing but criticism in what I've seen.

Giles didn't make a great job of Shamrock Rovers now did he? Walked out on Ireland after the first qualifing game for the 1982 W.C. also even though it was a 3-2 victory in Cyprus.

He wasn't too shabby, Lee. Took West Brom from bottom three in old Second Division to promotion and then seventh place in first season in top flight. Was a pioneer for black players when one was really needed, signing three who all became England internationals - Cunningham, Regis and Moses. Plans for Rovers were too ambitious but his efforts came at huge financial cost to himself and his efforts showed great loyalty to Irish football. Also unearthed the likes of Jim Beglin.
Was hounded out of Irish job by mob element after he had given us self respect. My first international as a fan was a four one defeat against mighty Austria. The crowd erupted when we scored a penalty. We were either three or four down at the time. Lost return game six nil. He was a mighty manager for us. Won coach of the year in North American league despite the fact NY Cosmos were cleaning up everything. Not a flawless record but he's perfectly entitled to be exasperated by prima donna spoofers.

These lads who won everything with United are hardly pre-Madonna spoofers. They probably get too much air time alright but winners like to talk, and put the boot into people, just like Giles has always done.

Good summary and I'll go with that with slight reservations.
