I'd say there have been plenty of snow storms in toilet cubicles after lads sneezing while going in for a sniff

82 and 87 are the two that stick in my mind. Apparently 1947 saw the longest period of snowstorm in Ireland. The two or three Winters following the War were by all accounts pretty brutal as if things weren't bad enough with rationing and what not.

Twas the Spring of '18 and deep, deep were the drifts. Man alone could not escape from the squalor of snow and cold weather. People were starved of bread, as serious shortages were experienced. The cold snap prevented workers from commuting and those snowed in said they had never seen anything like it before.
It is said to this day, the bread does not taste the same nor can you can get hold of a sliced pan in the same way. It will be remembered in the eons of time memorial.
