Default Personal Services Cards

https://www.irishexaminer.com/irelan...ms-466883.html

How many have actually went about getting one of these!

This Card was first issued in 2012 for those of us who had to access jobseekers benefit and then it became a requirement when applying for a driver theory test or a first-time passport, as well as social welfare payments.

So it was really focused towards newcomers, most of the rest of us were to get letters which in the main have been ignored, because you have to call to your local social welfare office during work hours which is unfair.

Anyone have one!

I have one because I was out of work for a while in 2015. They were nowhere near as invidious and potentiality sinister as they are now.

Ah right

Seriously though, I remember in the 80s identity cards were proposed as a part solution to football hooliganism and anti social behaviour in the UK. They were never brought in because of objections by civil liberties groups. I thought jeeps might have similar concerns.
