Default Is Micheal Martin Finished ?

With recent events in Dail Eireann, I can't see Micheal Martin achieving his ambition to be Taoiseach. If December election goes ahead ...
1. FF partly to blame for election, so electorate negative
2. Martin is the last senior man remaining in FF from the Bertie years
3. The younger FF members want rid of him
4. Sinn Fein wouldn't support him because of his ministerial record and his opposition to Sinn Fein
5. In the media he comes across as a bit of an idiot.
In my opinion, Micheal Martin is finished.

A Cork Taoiseach won't do us any harm.

Michael McGrath is very capable.

Don't think election will go ahead.
As for MM, I don't agree with his leadership policies and have posted loads of times that I thought he should never have entered into this arrangement not to mention kept it going after the McCabe original no confidence motion - BUT, that said, he is by no means an idiot.

I just think he wants to see out his time as a TD to retirement in the quietest way possible.

I'd say Jonathan O Brien would have a better chance of leading our country pmsl.

election & loses, likely he'll resign.
Highly credible possible future president though, possibly in the next election depending on what Michael D does.
