RTE is not the only state broadcaster that is a joke. On the BBC news channel this morning, they had the story of an unfortunate rabbit, who was found dead after a United Airlines flight somewhere in the States. This was presented as a serious news item.

Undoubtedly, it was serious (deadly) for the rabbit and possibly upsetting for its owners, but as a news item in a world news channel? Just imagine, a senior news editor deemed this a worthy story to broadcast.

Good work GJG! In my opinion, RTE is full of chancers and bullshit-artists. It is riddled with pro-government bias and nepotism. The Irish people need to demand real transparency, accountability and professionalism from this state-funded broadcaster.

The version of Ireland, which RTE attempts to depict doesn't exist and in many cases never existed. RTE has nothing to offer the Irish people and is completely out of touch with modern Ireland.

It is a self-serving, self-promoting broadcaster, which is of no value to the Irish people. It is time to replace it with a national broadcaster that the Irish people can trust.
Couldn't agree more.
It makes millionaires out of talentless arseholes at the taxpayers expense.

Besides the news I never watch it.

I reckon he committed suicide when he heard he was going to Hare airport.

Hares and rabbits are like Sunni and Shiites.
