The Adult Education & Training Exhibition takes place in City Hall on Wednesday 31 August and Thursday 1 September.
It's open to the public from 1-8 p.m. each day and admission is free.
The exhibition is open to any group or organisation offering classes or courses or activities for adults.
A wide variety of exhibitors offer the opportunity for people to meet the education providers face to face rather than just engaging on-line.
Organisations that will exhibit include all the main statutory providers such as Cork Community Schools , CIT, ETB, UCC.
There will also be a wide choice of courses provided by commercial groups and a number of Dublin based organisations will also attend.
Many cultural and voluntary groups offer a range of courses in hobbies, languages and special interest,
e.g. astronomy, genealogy, meditation, Italian, Spanish, Alexander Technique and so on will also exhibit.

President/Chairperson Richard T. Cooke commented: 'We're always learning and we learn for many reasons whether we're learning a new hobby for the sheer enjoyment of it or whether we return to education to enhance our work opportunities or for a career change or simply to keep our brains active. And it's never too late to start learning something new. In fact the perfect time for learning is right now because there're so many learning opportunities for people and there is such a wide variety of options open to them. The Adult Education & Training Exhibition is a hands on Exhibition where people will be able to see the wonderful options available and be able to talk to the education providers face to face. I never met a person who had no ambitions. We all have ambitions. What's yours? Looking forward to seeing you at the Exhibition'.

If you would like to take up a learning opportunity this year then the exhibition is definitely worth a visit.
Maybe it's a degree or diploma course you're looking for to enhance your career opportunity or perhaps a short
term learning activity for personal development.

During the exhibition, demonstrations will be held by some of the groups exhibiting. There will also be a series
of workshops on career development for those seeking employment or wishing to change careers.
