Arrow EMC Going Bang?

Dell move is going as expected, all staff are being called into a meeting today at 3pm.

Apparently, people with 15 years at the company will be offered voluntary redundancy, as a start.

Everything I had was based off a mail gone into Neill this morning.

Apparently there's a meeting at 3pm, but no news is good news.

I heard about this the other week. Longer serving guys being offered redundancy to shift them out. I'm always amazed at these big multinationals and how they allow their wage bills to become unwieldy paying general operatives 60k pa and other sorts of ridiculousness.

EMC has been a great sucess in cork.

That part of the collig/ovens actually has the highest concentration of millionaires in ireland because of it.

I used to know people working there vack in the 90s and "share price" occupied their every waking moment.

I hope that the news coming out of EMC isnt bad.
