Default THe Conor Mcgregor thread

Thats his bodyguard, needed after he riled up the entire country of Brazil

Conor is taking over. Trash talker and ass kicker. Putting those Americans and Brazilians in their place.
Putting Ireland on the MMA map

It's a bit rich going around calling other fellas midgets when you're only 5'9.

I think he's brilliant. Plays the game perfectly and because of that he's hated in his division. Hope he cleans the floor with this one and moves up and does the same.

I liked him but the trash talking bullshit to me is the same as what the WWF 'fighters' do so he's draggi MMA in that direction.
He should just shut the fuck up and fight.
I though his last 2 wins were questionable in that his opponents were called out early.

Sheamus O'Shaughnesy is the top irish guy in this space. He blazed the trail. And as a heavyweight too.

Lets see how good mcgregor is once he gets to the wwe. Look at brock leznar for example. He made the step up. Its a whole different level.

Remember ken shamrock? Totally found wanting in wwe

MMA and Pro Wrestling have always had huge connections no matter how much MMA die hards dispute it.

One of the earlier high profile "MMA" contests in Japan in June 1976 featured a fella by the name of Muhammed Ali Vs a pro wrestler called Antonio Inoki.
It was promoted in the states by Vince McMahon.

Great article on it here
