If the weather is good for this it's going to be epic.

I do realise this is Ireland of course.

FinkPloyd, did you email the info@Lissardfestival .com already? I'm getting back to somebody in relation to the same question on Monday. Will know the details then.

Nicolas Jaar added to the line-up (I presume he's on Sat as he's in Dublin on Sunday)

With the August bank holiday is fast approaching, the sumptuous grasslands of Liss Ard Estate will be filled with the finest in food, music and arts - inspiring us with literary delights and a lengthy list of musicians, not to mention the best in West Cork cuisine. And to add that an experimental-electronic touch to an iridescent line-up, is American-Chilean prodigy and mercurial talent, - NICOLAS JAAR

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLBo...layer_embedded

Promoters are delighted to announce that the immensely talented Nicolas Jaar will bring his incredible live show to Liss Ard on Saturday 4th August, in what is a rare live appearance on Irish soil. At the age of 22, Jaar makes music beyond his years and backs this up with a live show along with his band which entails live improvisation and stunning musicianship rarely seen in the world of electronic music. He stole the show at this year's Sonar festival in Barcelona, take your chance to catch him at Liss Ard 2012! Jaar's performances in Liss Ard and The Button Factory will be your only chance to catch him in Ireland in 2012, he brings his live band to conquer Liss Ard with an amalgamation of radical synths, echoing guitars, some saxophone and his own lush vocals.

Having accomplished an inconceivable amount since his recent University graduation, Jaar can’t be regarded as your average 22 year-old New York college student. An unconventional taste-maker, Jaar has already enjoyed a chain of groundbreaking singles under likes of Wolf + Lamb and his debut album ‘Space is Only Noise’ has gathered staggering acclaim from The Guardian (“One feels drawn into a fully formed, self-contained world of his making”) to Rolling Stone magazine.

Yes Liss Ard thats me the same guy who posted about the volunteer query on Facebook. I applied on the online link that you gave me. Whats the actual capacity of this event? I see you have competition in that weekend too with Indiependence and Castle Palooza. Hoping to make it down to this anyway.

Weighing it up Indiependence has more acts for me. Chromatics tempting but not enough to make the long trip.
