Default Ole Gunnar to Villa..

It could be a good move.

Unfortunately for Villa if he comes in and does very well he will probably end up at United.

No chance Villa will go for the tried and tested and somebody that has passed the test the job is Paul Lamberts if he wants it or it could also go to Brendan Rodgers

Someone else has said that what Villa really need is for Paul Lambert to manage for the first 70 minutes at which point he'd be subsituted by Ole Gunnar to win the game in the last 20.

Talk is strong on this one now, what do you think BBJ? is this one you'd like to see?

He was impressive as the Reserve Team Manager at Utd.

According to Ferguson when he sat to it on the bench at United he used to study the opposition and even take notes.

It's why he was so successful as a substitute. coming on he'd have the defenders figured out.

It's probably stood to him as a manager. He's also supposed to be a very strong character.

Peppa Pig would be an improvement on Big Eck, Rutters.
Seriously, the more I think of this the more I like it. I remember when he played that one of his nicknames was the Baby-faced Assassin. He's a lot tougher than he looks and anyone taking on the Villa job will need to be as tough as a pair of old boots.

Oh dont let the baby face fool you, he gas a very strong character, and a real tactical brain.

A lot of talk about his man management skills as well, seems to have the skill of getting the very best out of players.

You could do a whole lot worse imo

I've heard that TV2sporten in Norway is reporting that he and his wife are on a flight to Birmingham.
Of course, it might be that herself just wants to pick up some bargains in the Bull Ring, Norway being a hugely expensive country.
