Would this be so bad ? Why not endure greater pain for a shorter period of time (i.e. balance the budget by 2014) and get it over with?

What we are going through at the moment is slow death by a thousand cuts.

That's not the point, Mark Paul was on about his article and it got transformed into a Morning Ireland Yes Vote political broadcast.
