Carrigaline edged out Ballincollig tonight by a point (2-6 to 11), despite being down to 14 for most of the second half and the ref trying his best to get a draw out of it. Ballincollig had their chances to win/draw it after coming back from 5 points down at half time, but their forwards weren't as clinical. Their number 8 was excellent, though. Carrigaline seem to have a much stronger bench than last year; their subs steadied the ship.

Glanworth 0-06 Nemo Rangers 4-18. Serious marker laid down tonight I'd say.

Millstreet 0-11 Bantry Blues 1-8 Saturday night. Good comeback by Millstreet they were down 5 points in the second half in what was a low scoring game, showed a lot of character. The midfield battle was a lot more even than expected with Deane and Delaney at midfield for Bantry but Michael Vaughan and Cormac Sheehan gave them a good battle. Millstreet 'keeper Mark O'Donovan had a bit of a howler for the Bantry goal but recovered well and made a few excellent saves later on.

Just said I'd tidy it up there for any lads who are wondering who is in what. Threw in the B as well for anyone interested.

To be honest, if Nemo don't win the A, I'll be in complete shock. They have far too much talent all over the pitch. Not a weak player in sight.

Don't have a clue about the B, but Kildorrery are a strong enough footballing stronghold, while Iveleary put up a ridiculous score there in their semi-final. Can't really comment without seeing the opposition though.
