Default Legal Question

Are suppliers legally obliged to inform customers of price increases?

I have received letters in the past from suppliers informing us of price increases.

But now I have discovered price increases, without so much as an email, letter of phone call

Is this just bad form or a legal requirement

Probably dealt with in the contract.

Is the supplier Irish or foreign?

Supplier is Irish

It was hidden away in the T&C.

It says "the supplier may vary the annual charge".

I thought they would have to advise a customer of any increase. Of course this little nugget was not mentioned when the agreement was presented.

It was written in plain English what the charge would be, to which I agreed. Nothing about an arbitrary annual increase of 10%.

They sound just like the legal industry.

At least they invoice you before they pilfer your account.
