I prefer thrash/black/death stuff.. but of course anything what sounds good is ok with me whatever the genre is... usually after few minutes of any song I'm like: yes, no or let's try another song (which means no in the final anyway ) .. and there are bands with few good songs/albums but rest of their work is shit.. (you know how it is.. first two albums good, last two shit.. or opposite..)

Anyway, Burning oak is a festival that is being run this year in Cork. Events on from Wednesday July 4th up until I think that Sunday night. Top of the bill so far include Rotting Christ on the Saturday night supported by Overoth, Zealot Cult, Shardborne, Wound Upon Wound and many more, Primordial playing their first Cork date since 2007 on the Friday night, (Katatonia were due to be playing the Thursday night with Mourning Beloveth but that had to be cancelled following the decision not to hold the Sonisphere UK festival this year but a replacement is being sought.) Most of the events are being held in Cruscin lan but there will be a free night and drinks promotions in Ziggys on the wednesday night.
