He didn't last too long at Cork Celtic and never won anything with them. Dinny Allen won an F.A.I. Cup medal with Hibs in 1973.

Ewan McKenna ghostwrote Darragh O'Se's autobiography. In this he managed to make the story one of the best and most controversial players of the modern era into unquestionably the worst GAA book of the last 10 years. And in fairness to O'Se he is actually a good writer in his own right. AFAIR he was the fella who proclaimed Cork 2010 as the worst football champions in memory even before the semis that year.

He should have the crayons taken off him.

In terns of overall sporting success by county, I would say Cork is marginally behind Dublin and marginally ahead of Antrim. When one adjusts for resources, population, state investment and success across a range of sports we are out on our own.

"Limerick sports capital" is a wind-up and unless the shooting disciplines at London 2012 are going to include kneecapping as a demonstration event, it will remain so for the foreseeable future.
