Well we will need to avoid them in the draw for the friendly to happen. If it does happen I hope England have matured enough as a nation that they wont kick off like last time.

Believe it or not, lozzy, I was actually at that match, and the Antos from Dublin (and the Ant-nees up from Cork ) were never under control at any point. I assume you , like all self-declared English soccer "fans" in Oireland, will be giving absolute support to dear mother England when you see your heroes like Wayne, Stevie G, Lamps and John T in the flesh for the first time.

If it does go ahead let's hope there are no GAA supporters in the crowd.
Would hate to see the officials or any innocent bystanders come under attack as they seem to do most weekend's when Ireland's national sport is played.

The English fans will make up no more than 10% of the crowd, but most of them will support clubs in England who have no representative on the England team or even have a snowballs chance of making the England team. On the other hand, the Oirish fans will be a-la-carte "supporters" of the English clubs who make up the English team, but will be screaming hate-filled abuse at the same English players who a few later they will worship again. Ah, the myriad of ironies of the typical Oirish soccer scoby.

'Rattled', 'pawned' 'melted' etc. etc. etc, lozzzy . I am drafting my acceptance speech already, and in single-syllable words so that my electorate might understand it." Go on, my son"

An acute and accurate observation my good man.
Poor Paddy will be in a quandary - his head will have a giant green hat on it but his heart will be back in his bedroom with the Manyoo quilt cover and replica shirt already washed by his mammy for his next trip to the pub.
I have actually witnessed a knuckle-dragger wearing a Liverpool shirt screaming abuse at Stevie G ( the famous one ).
Oh how I guffawed at his expense.
