Default Trash talking on the pitch?

Should this just be banned altogether.

With lads giving it large then crying racism it got me thinking. You either ban it or let it all go.

I've given this a good bit of thought. If some French lad or some black lad is having a go off me, why am I not allowed to insult him with all i got and not to have to temper my insults so as to not offend his sensibilties. If he calls me a cracker, I don't really mind, but I should be allowed to come back with every insult that comes into my head. Especially if he starts it.

Is this fair or am i missing something?

I hate to agree with ya lamps but what is said or happens on a pitch should be left on it. It should all be left slide within reason.

I have told fellas all those things on the pitch. Once told a fella I would eat his children and his childrens children.

lost it that day. By the same token I have seen fellas red carded for racist remarks.

Ya but a racist comment doesn't mean you are a racist either. I have often told a joke involving a race of some sort but I'm not one bit racist imo.

You can call a fella a fat cunt, say you fucked his wife, tell him he's a thick cunt, call his mother a whore, mock him because he's won fuck all, wish diseases on his family, call him a faggot and even feign injury to get a fella sent off depriving him of his full wages but mention black and the police will investigate. That's the way it works over there (and in other parts of Europe). Racial abuse/slagging takes precedence over other forms of verbal abuse/slagging. It's a product of the PC brigade's agenda.
