All Blacks team named for Fiji game. Cant see a Samoa type shock this weekend.

Mils Muliaina, Zac Guildford, Conrad Smith, Ma'a Nonu, Sitiveni Sivivatu, Colin Slade and Jimmy Cowan in the backs.

The forwards are Liam Messam, Richie McCaw, Adam Thomson, Ali Williams, Jarrad Hoeata, Wyatt Crockett, Andrew Hore and Ben Franks.

The bench is Corey Flynn, John Afoa, Sam Whitelock, Jerome Kaino, Piri Weepu, Dan Carter, and Ben Smith.

Henry is trying out a lock and cover for Carter which are his main squad weaknesses. The only other weakness in the AB's is the lack of a world class 9 and not much cover there either

Lomu is trying out his Kerry Yerra approach to see how it goes down in rugby.

Ireland are genuine contenders to get out of the group and rattle a few cages after that but cant see the winner coming from any place but the tri nations.

I'm not so sure about that. They've played one good game in the last two years so that isn't cause for optimism and that was against england so it could easily have been a one off. They should get out of their group but won't go any further than that.

They will still be the only country with a worse front row than Ireland.

So thats some hope at least.

Saw Jerry Flanery in the gym in U.L yesterday, was gonna ask him what the update is but he looked a bit cross so I said I'd leave him at it

Even if he is fit, There's no way you could go from not playing for nearly two years and straight into a WC.

And that if is a big one too I'd say.

Flannery shouldn't be anywhere near the squad, he's been out of the game too long. Hopefully hell be back for munster though

Ireland have a pretty good front row. Healy, best/cronin and ross there's not much wrong with that and it'll be even better in the new year if they bring strauss into the fold.
