If they'd said "sports-mad", it would have been more accurate.

Stupid article.
As for that ad, they were hyping up the product they were selling. Its a big rivalry, but the big GAA rivalries trump it in a big way.

AS for the IRFU, they've got egg on their faces and the power of the clubs has been re-established. It'll be a long time before they make up for it. This ticketing fiasco could be the best thing to happen to irish rugby in years tbh.

isn't the problem that you had to buy tickets for 2 or 3 other matches aswell for over 100 quid? ridiculous.

You had to agree to purchase an aportment with a 10% up front cash deposit on a "Ghost Estate" in South County Dublin along with 4 tickets to these matches which Ireland will probably get battered in and lose anyway

It amazes me that the people most worried about a half full stadium are the self confessed rugby 'haters.'

Huzzad!

Who's for G n' T's?

Initially you had to buy all 4, for 340 quid. Then they changed them to 2-game packages. 150 for SA/Samoa and 190 for NZ/Argentina.

Then for a finish they were selling them individually. The damage was done at that stage though. The clubs just sent them all back.
