Default What ever happened to Rubyhorse?

Howdy all

Just wondering does anyone know what happened to the cork band Rubyhorse.i was a big fan of theirs and went to see them several times over the yrs. There was rumours they split up but nothing ever officially announced.
If check out their website its lying dormant since 2005.

I know the guitar player Joe philpott is playing with another cork based band called Jodavino but what happened to the other members does anyone know?

They nearly but did not make it. Biggest claim to fame? being on letterman and having George Harrison play on one of their tracks.
I remember seeing them years ago and the lead singer had a mighty ego even back then.
Big label bullshit fucked them up and just a dose of bad luck.

I'd say the first time I saw them play was in Spiders about 20yrs ago , Memory serving me right I think they were called B.F.G or Crazy Age , again this was a good while back.
Can't say I was ever into the kind of music they did , just not my cup of tea. However as a band I have big respect for them. Like I said I saw them play first over 20 yrs ago and as recent as about 5 yrs ago . That is some going .
