....if its on offer.
The inkshop on castle street is one of the more reasonably i know of - especially given the fact its a small shop,
but if you go out to harvey normans you can get them to drop the price for you.
If you're lucky you might even get 40 euro off depending on who you're dealing with.
And Smeggle, thats actually a great idea regarding buying an external 2.5. I never thought of that. I usually go to pc systems but there closed saturdays and i have a customer screaming the head off me

sure i only know it cause i was caught once at my suppliers when they had none and I had a rush job - just sort of clicked - hey Derek - sure I can just use one of an external yeah? sure can't see why not...
I needed an external caddy anyway and client needed drive - so it was win win
@waveform symbols are earth, fire, air[wind] and water...last one is my star sign - all done in html codes

Be sure to get a decent enclosure that can take the shock.
Try using some stick on foam on the inside to cushion the hard drive if you get a cheap enclosure, and be sure not to cover any of the holes on the top of the hard drive, that usually say (do not cover).
Some enclosure come with those little stick on thingies.
Stay away from this particular style case especially:
My plan is to buy a normal portable external hdd and open it and take out the hdd and use it as an internal hdd and use the case as a caddy. do ya reckon this would work?
