Has done very well with Norwich and Colechester before that. Likeable guy and was probably my favourite Celtic player when he was there

Ironic that in his last game in charge of Norwich, the Canaries prevailed rather easily (2-0) against Villa.
Hopefully, it'll be third time lucky (after Houllier and McLeish) for Villa in the appointment of a manager after MON.
I understand that the Holte End are rehearsing "The Lambert Walk" to welcome him on his debut at Birmingham 6.
