Default David Meyler stat

I heard this on another forum just wondering if someone can confirm if it is true

Apparently before his injury he broke the all-time Premiership record for distance covered in a match (something like 15km+) - and then a week later, broke it again!

I think the average distance covered in a match is about 8km so its an impressive stat if true!

Don't know if the stat is true or not but his injury was very unfortunate as he would have been in the first eleven this season.

Yeah he was having a decent season up until his injury. Hopefully he will get back to that standard soon, he could be an important player for Ireland. Such a shame Steven England refuses to play for us we could have a cork midfield.

I remember reading last season that Bruce was amazed by the distance he covered in one of their league games, 14km it was I think.

Is it a sign that he was just chasing the ball and not playing? Maybe they were being destroyed and he was running aimlessly?

I've two questions. Who's David Meyler and why would he run 15 km during a football game.

The yanks would love him on the stat sheets.0 passes, 0 corners, 0 fouls,0 goals ....but he did run 8km in the first half.

Fawking donkey.

Must be the reason why he was one of Sunderlands best players last season and ran the show against Spurs

You claim not to know who he is but well enough to call him a donkey. Its a shame your mother couldnt afford the ferry to England. Missed opportunity I guess
