livewire are proud to present the 4th annual Party in the Pines. This year it features some of Corks finest bands in the excellent seaside recluse of Pine Lodge.
As usual there's a 50 seater bus available to bring you down and back to town. Leaves St. Patrick's Quay (opposite Merchant's Quay) at 7.00pm sharp and will leave Myrtleville at 1.15; it's also only a tenner a head.
Amongst all the music and craic there'll be food and special drinks deals in the beer garden out back.
So if you want to book a spot on the bus for what will surely be a great night, drop me a PM here or mail livewirepromotions@g mail.com
Ten Past Seven are Matt on Bass, Ger on Drums and Rory on Guitar.
Their debut release on Out On A Limb ‘Shut Up Your Face’ displays the full range of their ability to transfer their raw power and passion to musical expression, combining psychedelic groove, metal and jazzy post rock.
Recently recorded a new single, entitled "Bothar Bui". Check it out here
Elk
Elk, 'the heavy pop monster', is a beast whose hind legs and broad imposing chest contains the brothers Hedigan - Matt on bass and Lewis on drums. The remaining power antlers are composed of Shane who blazes out synth and guitar. All body parts of Elk share vocal duties.
Hope is Noise
Hope is Noise are a Cork based post hardcore quartet. "Visceral guitars, anthemic choruses and polemic lyrics", perhaps does some justice to the aural barrage that is 'Hope is Noise'
I'll Eat Your Face
I'll Eat Your Face are Barry and Barry and are in their own words "two retards without a shred of personal decency making a scene in your local public house."
Their unique take on grindcore accompanied with wheelbarrow loads of wit and charm have installed the duo as a favourite in the Cork live music scene.
