Default Man united summer spending

http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2...-united-summer

so fergie's saying he's no big spending plans for the summer and he's happy enough with the squad?? he could use a decent right back and a big name midfielder or two.

also how bollix is this: "Club officials, including Ferguson himself, have insisted that it will be the manager's decision alone if he leaves most of that money unspent."

why would fergie choose not to spend the 80mill from ronaldo. he's itching for a splurge i reckon. I wouldnt have thought fergie would be the kinda guy to take spoonfuls of crap from the glazers, no way they could ever get rid of him before he's good and ready imo.

era the average squad he has now is challenging in europe and the league so its not that far off but i think that is because chelseas standard has dropped off as well. id be buying a keeper a decent midfielder and a striker if i was him and off loading some dead wood but even if he does not that squad will still challenge next year as there is nobody else really outside chelsea and arsenal.man city may step up when they splash more cash but.......

If he doesnt get a certain Spanish goalscorer and Real get him then Benzema will be on his way to OT.

He will be playing against a player tonight who i think would make a big impact on the united team, Ribery. I dont think Nani would get a look in against him. Also i think he will get Parker in as This will be scholes last year.

giggs scholes neville van der saar all being put out to pasture and nani and valencia are average. keep rooney and the rest of the defence, sell everyone else and rebuild, spend about 100 mill and there's a chance of doing well next year.
