Looks like Gerrard is at it again to try and get rid of Benitez. Seems to me he is trying to get the club to go for a It's me or Him with Benitez. Maybe it's been a power struggle between Gerrard and Benitez thats been the cause of Liverfools problems all season.

Basically it looks like Benitez is going to stay come hell or high water, Gerrard and himself always have had a cool relationship. Gerrard is Liverpool through and through and can see the club going down the pan with Benitez. Selling Alonso has totally destroyed their season, he was their main man outside of Gerrard and Torres, Gerrard knows this and wants him out and is going to test both the fans and clubs loyalty by starting these rumours that he wants to leave for CL football at Man City, or Chelsea

It's all tabloid bollocks but Gerrard has been shit this season Liverpool might be better off trying their best to base a team around Torres rather than the primadonna who's better days may well be behind him anyway

Torres is young and if they can keep him it will be a good start
