Dallas
I've been offered the opportunity to be transferred to our office in Dallas for a few months next year. Honest opinions about the place would be appreciated... booze-life, weather (I'd be there spring & summer), availability of weed, etc. I don't have a driving licence which might be an issue.

It will be very hot.
Great Tex Mex food - good enough bar / club scene though not as cool as Austin or as cosmopolitan as Houston.
Plenty of great very good cheap weed.
You will need a car though.
Go for it and enjoy.

Why do you always insist on making a clown of yourself in the Travel Forum Ringy ?
Aren't you content with doing that in the LF all the time ?

I dont mean to sound negative but is there a choice of going somewhere else?
If not then you can make the most of it but you will need a car to do it.
BBQ is great.
Cops are heavy handed.
Go to Billy Bobs Honkytonk.
Visit San Antonio and Austin. Forget Houston..its dead already.
It will be hot hot hot if its the summer months!

Nah, it's work related. I don't think they'd move offices on my behalf.

Don't go if your not driving.
The ladies are loose.
The food is very good.
The people are a bit strange.
The book depository is very moving.
Probably the hottest place I ever went to.
