Board of management just want somewhere in mayfield, tinkers cross site was rejected because of how easy it'll flood (ie,all the time)
My comment on bullying was from experience, both my own,my siblings and some of my friends. I didn't say schools can't share a campus for fear of being bullied, just that it's a factor. Didn't mention Mayfield comm at all, that was just you.
Also didn't comment on the standard of Irish in english-speaking schools. (although I have attended both and it's atrocious, but that could just be the teachers I encountered)
As for learning difficulties arising in 3rd level for students who've learned through irish? Bullshit. But maybe it depends on the person, course, teache rs,etc.
Did i mention that St Patricks school again half empty and a National school also offered to share their school, not posh enough for you lot though i suppose
Hahaha if you think we're posh you obviously haven't been there. I'm not the one who makes the decisions,i'm just a concerned ex-pupil. If that's really how you feel why don't you go suggest it to the principle? I'm sure they'll be thrilled such an obvious, easy solution is handed to them. Cuz obviously,it must be that easy.
And just like all the other suggestions that've been rejected over the years, there's probably a reason for it! May be a gang of nutters but hey,you don't go there.
