Rooney - dive watch

Manyoo need someone to step up to the diving plate this season. I have a feeling it will be Rooney that ups his, already adept, diving game.

Two obvious ones already (one for england).
Maybe no hrm to keep a track of the most blatant ones.

1) Dive v Arsenal - penalty awarded. (was a dive, but was also a penalty imo)

2) Dive v Slovenia - threw himself to the ground having fouled the defender, kicked out at the defender when he fell, turned around, eyes and mouth wide open in appeal. Unbelievably gets the pen.

he dived in a European tie against Copenhagen a few years ago too and was publically pulled on it my his manager

Also dived against Chelsea the time he got injured in the climax of the 06 season i think (earlier in the game)

I think we should only include this season's dives. Let bygones be bygones, as it were.
otherwise, this thread could become unwieldy. He has a catalogue of misdemeanours against Arsenal over the years, for instance.

The dive against Arsenal was as clear a dive as you'll see anywhere. He will step up diving this year to made up for Ronaldo leaving.

I expect Berbatov to do likewise.
