My god were very strong from numbers 8-15 no team in the country can match us for strength in depth in those areas.Strength in depth in defence is an issue a better team than Clare would have punished us last sunday but were three games away from winning the all ireland.Kerry and Dublin will be our main competitors as well as Donegal.I think Dublin are a decent team but i think have more football than them.Kerry are still a good team but their not the force that they were in 09 while Donegal will be hard to beat we do have the better footballers.Im trying to stay calm relaxed and cautious but tbh i think it's a 90% certainty that we'll win the all ireland.

It's a good job your'e being cautious then.

The Cork footballers as you know have a history of beating themselves.

Cork should win it, but it's up to the lads on the pitch to do it, we'll never have a better chance.

Id settle for aidan walsh, leave ciaran to the fooball as he main focus.
Ciaran superb natural ability, that few have the grace of god to be born with, combined with a super attuide and determination.
Thank god we didnt loose him to aussie rules.
I've never seen Ciaran hurling but I'd be inclined to agree with you. I belive Ciaran would be a natural at what ever sport he turned his hand too but if he is not interested in dual then thats his call to make.

Aidan is amazingly talented at both games and has declared an interest in playing both. His fielding in both codes is spectacular but while he sometimes struggles with his shooting accuracy in football he seems to have no problem popping them over from tight angles in the few games I saw him play hurling for Cork.

I believe he is ideally suited for dual but in the end it is a huge commitment to make and should be the choice of the player alone.

We are extremely fortunate to have some of the best footballers that this county has ever produced coming to their peak at this point. Morgan's team of 87 to 92 was the best Cork Team that I had seen until now. It was built on a 3-in-a-row at U21.

This team is built largely on some great U21 and minor sides in recent years along with a few longer serving lads.

In many Cork teams of recent years we had 2 or 3 genuine IC players - Masters, Corkery, Ciaran O Sullivan, Canty etc but the present team is full of genuine top IC Players.

Lads like Ciaran Sheehan, Paddy Kelly, Shields, Cadogan, A Walsh, Dan Goulding, Paul Kerrigan and Colm O Neill all have the potential to be greats of the game.

Most counties never produce a team like this - In Cork, it will only happen once in a life time - Enjoy this team while you can.

Tyrone in Killarney - what a way to put away this Kerry team for good.

I know, they'll probably go on and win the All Ireland now - but yerra, enjoy while we can, they must be half scared to death down there this morning - their nightmare scenario. Fantastic.
