"I am quite happy to comment on people's opinion in football I respect, but Tony Cascarino is a man I certainly do not respect, for a lot of reasons, and if I told you, you would be shocked," Keane said. "So the day I worry about Tony Cascarino will be a very sad day of my life. It is a very long story."

What did he mean by this.
Obviously Tony O' Cascarino has been a naughty boy and I don't mean having fish n' chips followed buy a lash of Guinness two days before a WC qualifier.
Gambling? We know he likes a flutter.

I think Big Tone laid it all bare in his book unlike Keane who blamed everyone but himself.
What other info does Keane possibly have? A murder? A Bank robbery?
'Big Tone' put into the book what he needed to to get a few sales. Keano didnt need to as he had a career to write about.
There are a lot of worse things ordinary people do in life than drink, gamble and play around (which from what i remember of the book was basically the story told) so use your imagination a little.
Its pretty obvious Keane is trying to get at the SFI through Cascarino.
If Keane wants a piece of us, come straight out with it. Leave big Tone alone, he is an innocent party in all of this.
I suppose the official SFI line on this will be something like...'Keane walked out on his country, Cascarino walked into a country that was not even his....'

I think its a bit rich for a lad who preferred to walk dogs around England instead of representing his country in the world cup to be criticising an Irish soccer legend

So Keane avoided controversy with his book? What kind of a langer are ya.
Keane was brought up on a bringing the game into disrepute charge for admitting to pre-meditated assault? Which he later denied to try and weasel out of it.
