Shame on the BBC for putting this shell of a man in front of millions of viewers. He's a very sad sight.

I think the BBC are doing the guy a huge favour, the more he can rebuild a life for himself away from the drink etc the better, and he said so himself that the show last night gives him more confidence. I didn't think they needed to bring him down memory lane though - where was the value in that?

I thought it was great to see him back on the box and his observations were fresh and insightful, not something that can be said of his fellow Geordie now managing the Toon. It did however remind me of when Soccer Saturday used to have Georgie Best on...I hope Gazza really can kick the booze for good. Apparantly he is moving in the right direction now. Great player, flawed genius as usual.

Thought he did very well on the show. Good to see football people giving him a chance.

You can still see the raging lunatic in his eyes though. Hope he continues to recover.
