Default Christy Cooney for President.

Just when the Country needs to be forward-thinking and banish a past of negative thinking and historic bitterness, we can look forward, as tonight's Evening Echo puts it," to the Coronation as President of the GAA," of a man who is on record as being totally opposed to the alteration of Rule 42, allowing rugby and soccer to be played in Croke Park. With his record he will no doubt have no problem in filling the shoes of another narrowminded President ...Con Murphy.
I wonder if Christy feels that we should return the circa €20m income gained by the Association, as well as the public goodwill that went with the gesture ?

The 52-year-old, who has appeared at the Public Accounts Committee (PAC) hearings into the alleged misuse of funds at FAS, went on secondment to the GAA on January 1.

This is nothing new..I have brought stuff like this up before and some of the GAA heads got really upset.
Its an insult to the great sports of Gaelic Football and Hurling and the Irish sporting public in general that this gombeen is even allowed near a GAA board meeting.
What next? Frank has a company that was set up on FAS scheme that basically runs the County Board????????????

The only positive thing about Cooney coming in is that it is the end of the the FAT Heap of shit Brennan!

Biggest problem with cooney is that he is in Franks gang and will be a mouthpiece for the prick!
